Here at Church of Abundant Life we view Missions, not as a part of our church, but as the heart of our church. Our goal is to equip, encourage and provide opportunities for each of us to fulfill the Great Commission; it is the heart of who we are as believers. Whether it is in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools or a foreign country, God has given everyone the mandate to "go and make disciples of all men".

From the youngest to the oldest there are opportuntities to become involved in missions here at COAL. The first Sunday of each month is Missions Sunday, where we highlight the work of Missionaries we support as well as our own missions projects. Our children help support the missions program through BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade) and the youth through Speed the Light. As a church, we currently support 8 missionaries on a monthly basis. We also support Faith Christian Church in Chennai, India through "Bottles for India" and God's Precious Sparrows", and are sponsoring one of our own church members during a two-year missions trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she will work with the Gentle Nest Baby Home.

Over the past two years we have seen over 30 people participate in short term mission trips from our church and have traveled to Chennai, India, St. Petersburg, Russia, and Kampala, Uganda. Each trip has been an amazing experience and confirmed our commitment to make missions the heart our church.
