WALK TALL Character is the real foundation of all worthwhile success. A good question to ask yourself is, “What kind of advice do I give others that I need to follow myself?” Living a double life will get you nowhere twice as fast. “Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; character fixes our destiny” -Tyron Edwards- Proverbs asserts, “A good name is to be chosen over great riches.” Would your reputation recognize your character if they met in the dark? Desire what Psalms declared, “Create in me a clean heart, Oh Lord, and renew a right spirit within me.” To change your character, you must begin at the control center --the heart. Consisder what Woodrow Wilson said: “If you think about what you ought to do for people, your character will take care of itself.” (copied from Dare To Be by John Mason) Another new school year has begun and new opportunities are presenting themselves. Make the most of them. Decide that you are going to pursue Christ above all else. Let your character be your witness and never forget you are where you are for a purpose.
